Sudoktive

Privacy Policy

Last updated 29 August 2026

Sudoktive has no accounts, no sign-in and no analytics. We do not build a profile of you, and nothing you do in the game is sent to us. There is no advertising in the app and no data is sold or shared for advertising.

What stays on your device

Your progress — which leads you have solved and where your board is positioned — is stored only on your device, using the operating system's standard app storage. It is not uploaded anywhere, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Purchases

When you buy a case, the payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, your card, or your billing address.

To know which cases you own — including after you reinstall or change device — the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated for your installation and the record of the purchase itself, which it checks against Apple's receipt. That identifier is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account.

RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf. Their privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple's handling of the transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Case content

Story text, puzzles and artwork are downloaded from our content servers, hosted on Amazon Web Services. As with any request over the internet, our provider's server logs record the IP address making the request and the file requested. These logs are used to operate and secure the service and are not used to identify or track individuals.

What we don't collect

Children

Sudoktive is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, this is a matter of policy rather than practice.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal information about you, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or delete on request. If you want the purchase record associated with your installation removed from RevenueCat, write to us and we will arrange it — note that this may prevent you restoring purchases on a future device.

To delete everything held on your device, delete the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
